Qatari-Omani cooperation in the field of traffic
Thanks to the solid economic and political relations between the two countries, Qatari investments in the Sultanate of Oman are growing steadily. This dates back about five years ago. Statistics show that the trade balance doubled seven times in 2021, more than in 2016. The Qatari companies registered in Oman doubled to reach 200 companies. During these years, two shipping lines were opened, linking the port of Hamad in Qatar with Salalah and Al-Dagham in the Sultanate.
